His father, F\u00e9lix Wembanyama, is a former track and field athlete specializing in the long jump, high jump, and triple jump. His mother, \u00c9lodie de Fautereau, is a former basketball player and current coach. Additionally, his older sister, \u00c8ve, is a professional basketball player, and his younger brother, Oscar, has participated in both basketball and handball at the youth level. His maternal grandfather, Michel de Fautereau, and grandmother, Marie-Christine, also played basketball professionally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
